National School Lunch Program
Desert Hills High School operates the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program, which are federally assisted meal programs to provide nutritionally balanced, low‐cost meals to school children each school day. As a requirement for this program, Desert Hills is required to distribute household applications. Household applications for free and reduced meals are available in the front office and as a printable document. These applications can be filled out multiple times throughout the year, which allows families who have experienced a change in their household size or income the opportunity to apply for free or reduced price meals at any time.
Please contact Andrea in the front office at 480-813-1151 if you have any questions.
All families are highly recommended to complete this application. This form is used to check for free and reduced lunch status. This form is also important for determining grant funding at each school.
