High-quality, Cognia-accredited education based on Arizona standards — on a small campus dedicated to students’ individual needs.
At Desert Hills High School, students attend classes Monday through Thursday; Fridays are reserved for credit-recovery sessions, tutoring, college tours, field trips, and club events. Students earn on-the-job experience through our work-credit, volunteer assistance, and community-service programs — and enjoy music, art, poetry, garden clubs, movie nights, business activities, and college and vocational programs.
We offer a safe and nurturing learning environment where young people are encouraged to participate in music, art, business, and agricultural programs, along with their core subjects and the AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) college and career preparation course — including the Desert Hills Youth Entrepreneurs (YE) team.
